This presentation will introduce the current research activities being conducted in the Australian Research Council (ARC) Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems (CAS), including (1) Theoretical research outcomes on sensing, data fusion, simultaneous localisation and map building (SLAM) for autonomous vehicles; (2) A number of example robotics systems that have been deployed or under development at CAS.
